Bought it to use at work. Works great, not sure about 990,000 lumens though. Sure you didnt mean 990 lumens!

Ordered 1 for my husband to use at work and basically now everyone wants one! Like that the light is very bright in the small space he has to work in, rechargeable battery is awesome, easy to fit on a hard hat, not too heavy and I have already placed an order for 4 more for the guys he works with!

I am an engineer and need to read equipment nameplates in old buildings. Half the time the mechanical closet bulbs are burned out and I was getting tired of not being able to see well. I researched pretty thoroughly for brightest headlamp at the best price and ordered this. Battery in back keeps weight balanced and in high mode puts out as much light as my car headlight.

I've owned several headlamps in the past and for the most part, they are in this same price range and have the same functions. Where the difference will come in is well, over time. So far, all of the headlamps have suffered the same fate which is a loss of elasticity in the head band itself. Once you begin to have a loose fit, you end up tossing the thing away. This lamp is sturdy and well balanced. With the battery pack in the rear, the band does not want to fall forward all the time and honestly, it sits well on my head. The light is well balanced as well. The focusing ring on the center lamp allows for a narrow or broad cast of light and for me, is perfect for inspecting in an attic or crawlspace. I will follow up in the next year if I experience Good or even Bad things with the headlamp.
